KONQER, PVA and Bank of Guam brings back the excitement of OCR and Ninja-styled challenges to the shores of Palau. This event is the make-good events from the 2019 schedule that were postponed due to shipment issues on December of 2019.

Boonie Stomps - Anao

Jan  11                      Anao                     Very Difficult                 5 hours for 4 miles
We descend the northeastern cliff to the isolated, beautiful coastline of northeast Guam. We visit the push/suck cave to swim, the wave cave, Shangri-la, the wind tunnel, and land’s end with its blowhole. Bring: 4 quarts water, hiking boots, sun screen, sunglasses, lunch and snacks, and camera. Special conditions: Hiking over rough sharp rocks, climbing steep slopes and boulders, little shade, and a long ascent at the end.

Boonie Stomps - Talofofo Caves

We explore the extensive cave system overlooking Talofofo Bay. We’ll visit the Talofofo Bay overlook, the big drop cave, the wind cave, the cliff top overlook, the petroglyph caves, the sauna room, the birth canal, and window rock. Bring: FLASHLIGHT, 1 quart water, hiking shoes, gloves, sun screen, insect repellant, lunch, and a camera. Special condition: Crawling in caves, short steep hills, walking on sharp rocks.

Boonie Stomps - Priest’s Pools

The perfect Christmas vacation hike, we visit a series of seven pools and small waterfalls in Southern Guam, with two jump spots and several swim pools, deep to shallow. It’s great fun for even the littlest kids.  The Easy option is only a 20 minute hike.     Bring: 1 quart water, hiking shoes, swimsuit, sunscreen, snacks, and camera.     Special conditions: (Medium) short steep climbs, no shade, some sword grass.

Boonie Stomps - Maguagua Falls

We head to a tall waterfall in central Guam. We’ll stop at the top for beautiful views, then make the challenging climb to the middle section with a small swim pool, then climb down to explore the ledges at the bottom.     Bring: 3 quarts water, hiking shoes, swimsuit, gloves, sun screen, insect repellent, lunch, and camera.      Special conditions: Sword grass, steep slopes, mosquitoes, and climbing with a rope

Boonie Stomps - Dante River

We hike to a remote, pristine jungle river with three large falls, many smaller falls, a large swim hole, and a rock slide. On the way back we’ll stop at Inarajan Falls.     Bring: 4 quarts water, hiking shoes that can get wet, swimsuit, gloves, sun screen, insect repellent, lunch and snacks, and camera.     Special conditions: Sword grass, steep slopes, mosquitoes, walking in water, a short difficult climb, and a very long hike.
 

Hell of the Marianas Century Cycle

Its name says it all. This 100km bike race takes you to hell and back on the toughest bike course in Micronesia. Begun in 2007, the Hell is considered the ultimate race with professional athletes arriving from Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Russia, China, Australia and elsewhere to participate.

We hike to a beautiful large waterfall that is seldom visited, then upriver to Lower Sigua Falls. On the way we visit the tank farm and explore a shady waterfall filled jungle river.     Bring: 4 quarts water, get wet shoes, swimsuit, gloves, sun screen, insect repellent, lunch and snacks, and camera.      Special conditions: Rope climbing up and down, steep slopes, slippery mud, walking in water over slippery rocks, and a very long hike
