TRAC Summer Sports Fest

The Sports Fest will be held at Paupau Beack Park, Saipan, MP 96950

The Tagaman Off-Road Triathlon consist of a 60KM Road Bike Race and a 10KM Run. The triathlon will challenge individuals to compete to their limits. “If it does not challenge you, it will not change you.” So go out there, challenge yourself and change yourself to be a better you. Challenge accepted!

Boonie Stomp - Ritidian Beach

June  15     Ritidian Beach                          Medium                   4 hours for 6 miles

We hike the long sandy beach south Ritidian.   New hikers and families can turn around when they get tired for an easier hike and return by the cool shaded nature trails.  Bring:  2 quarts water, wet shoes, swim suit, sunglasses, sun screen, lunch, and camera. Special conditions:  NO shade, a long walk in sand, and no pets.

Boonie Stomp - Moonie Stomp-Mt. Macajna

June  15     Moonie Stomp-Mt. Macajna   Easy                         2.5 hours for 2 miles

We follow a mostly paved road along a gently rolling ridge top, visit the KAL Memorial, and end at an outstanding viewpoint overlooking the whole central and northern island. This is a perfect family hike or novice hike.   Bring: Flashlight, 1 quart water, insect repellent, snacks, and camera. Meet at 5:30pm at the Chamorro Village.

Boonie Stomp - Tarzan Swim Hole

We make a nice loop trail to cool off at one of the best freshwater pools on the island. We’ll enjoy jumping from the ledges, daring the large rope swing, or just relaxing on the sunny ledges and watching the kids play.     Bring: 2 quarts water, wet shoes, swimsuit, sun screen, lunch, and camera.      Special conditions: Slippery slopes, mud, and no shade.

We descend to a beautiful isolated cove ideal for jumping, swimming, snorkeling, and possible reef walking if the water is calm.      Bring:  2 quarts water, swim suit, snorkel gear, gloves, sun screen, insect repellent, lunch, and camera.      Special conditions: A steep slope to ascend and a few rough rocky trail areas.
