We journey to a remote swimming hole in Southern Guam to enjoy swimming, rope swinging, jumping, rock sliding, and the Jacuzzi pool.

The museum will be closed on December 8, 2017 in honor of Santa Marian Kamalen and the Feast of the Immaculate Conception.  

The ultimate hike for small children, we take the short15 minute trail to the pools where we’ll enjoy swimming, jumping, and exploring the area. 

We hike up to the top of the biggest mountain on Guam and then enjoy a marshmallow roast on the open plain.

After a year’s hiatus, the annual Rota Blue Triathlon returns for its 23rd turn on Nov. 18, 2017, highlighting the pristine, untouched nature of the island of Rota in the Marianas.

The Guam Museum presents this month’s HITA Talk presentation, “An Inside Look at the Artist, Paul Jacoulet.” Born in France and raised in Japan, Paul Jacoulet is known for mastering the Japanese woodblock printing technique, ukiyo-e, and for his sketches and colorful depictions of the people of Micronesia, including the Marianas, and of the other places he travelled.

This year the New Tourism Frontiers Forum looks to the future by protecting the past as we look at the sustainability of tourism development with a pledge from the host country of Palau to preserve their destination for future generations. The forum will examine two specific topics related to digital marketing and the visitors experience with an afternoon workshop on Community Based Tourism, where participants will learn how to generate business while remaining sustainably conscious of their environment and culture.
