Sep 15 Waterfall Valley Medium 3 hours for 1 miles
We visit the large Upper Falls for jumping and swimming. Returning to the trail (easier) or walking down the river (harder) we pass Middle Falls to jump and swim at Lower Falls. Bring: 2 quarts water, wet shoes, gloves, sun screen, insect repellent, lunch, and camera. Special conditions: Walking in water, slippery rocks and mud, and mosquitoes.
Every Saturday, Guam Boonie Stompers offers public hikes to a variety of destinations such as beaches, snorkeling sites, waterfalls, mountains, caves, latte sites, and World War II sites. We meet at 9:00 AM in the Center Court of Chamorro Village in Hagatna. The cost is $2.00 for hikers over 12. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Hikers need to provide their own transportation. Guam’s trails are not developed. Weather conditions can make the hikes more difficult than described. No reservations required.
