Boonie Stomps - Taguan

May 29    Taguan     Medium    3 hours for 2 miles
We climb down the trail and steps to the east coast lamasa above the Pacific Ocean for beautiful views. If surf is low we can travel south to the sea cave for swimming, or head north to the double arch. Novice hikers or families can just enjoy the swim pool on the reef. Bring 2-3 quarts water, get wet shoes, sunscreen, gloves, snacks, and camera. Special conditions: Steep and slippery trail, rough coral rocks, lunch and snacks

Boonie Stomps - Sigua River Walk

May 22    Sigua River Walk    Difficult    5 hours for 5 miles
Revisiting an old hike, we travel to the top of Lower Sigua Falls, up the smaller top falls, then continue walking up river to Upper Sigua Falls, passing three smaller waterfalls on the way. Bring: 4 quarts water, get wet shoes, gloves, sun screen, bug spray, lunch and snacks, and camera. Special conditions: Sword grass, steep slopes, long uphill climbs, extensive walking in water, a long hike.

Boonie Stomps - Sella Bay

We hike down on an easy trail to Sella Bay, where we can enjoy swimming, snorkeling, and historical sites such as the photogenic Spanish Bridge. On the way back hikers can choose the slightly more difficult waterfall route. There are several shady spots to rest on the way out. Bring: 2 quarts water, hiking shoes, gloves, snorkeling gear, sunscreen, lunch, and camera. Special conditions: Slippery trail, rocks, and steep slopes.

Boonie Stomps - Brittney’s Falls

We travel to the very center of Guam to explore a small 20 foot waterfall with a deep freshwater swimming hole and a fun jump. For those with an historical interest, we offer the option to continue to the seldom seen Yokoi’s Cave. Bring: 4 quarts water, hiking shoes, gloves, sun screen, insect repellent, lunch and plenty of snacks, and a camera. Special conditions: Sword grass, river crossing, a rope climb, little shade, a muddy swamp, and a long hike.

Boonie Stomps - Mt. Lamlam North

May 01 Mt. Lamlam North      Very Difficuly      6 hours for 4 miles
We take the long steep Bens down trail to the false summit for views and pictures, then take the jagged rocky trail to the true summit. After a walk through sword grass hell we reach the open cliff ledges, cave, and possibly the maze. Finally, we head steeply downhill to our cars. Bring: 4 quarts water, hiking shoes, gloves, sunscreen, lunch and snacks, and camera. Special conditions: Lots of sword grass, little shade, a lot of steep climbing, jagged rocks, and a very long hike.
