Boonie Stomps - San Carlos Falls

Oct  12           San Carlos Falls           Very Medium           4 hours for 3 miles
We journey to a beautiful secluded waterfall in central Guam for swimming and pictures, then hike along a pristine jingle river to enjoy a second waterfall with jumping and swimming.    Bring: 3 quarts water, hiking shoes that can get wet, swimsuit, gloves, sun screen, insect repellent, lunch, and camera.    Special conditions: Steep slopes, walking in water, mud, rocky slippery river bottom, and climbing with a rope.

Boonie Stomps - Moonie Stomp – Mt Jumullong

Oct  12         Moonie Stomp – Mt Jumullong          Medium        3 hours for 2 miles
We hike uphill to one of the best view points on the island, stopping along the way to hopefully see a great sunset and maybe a green flash.  At the summit we’ll roast marshmallows, star gaze, and enjoy views of southern Guam by moonlight.     Bring: FLASHLIGHT, 1 quart water, good shoes, marshmallow stick.     Special conditions: steep slopes, mud, rocky trail in spots, uncertain footing in spots.

We trek over the hills of central Guam to the island’s most iconic and picturesque waterfall, with the best swim hole on the island and good jumping and swimming.  We’ll also take the short side trip to Hidden Falls   Bring: 3 quarts water, good shoes, gloves, sun screen, sunglasses, insect repellent, lunch, and camera.      Special conditions: Sword grass, very steep slopes and ropes, little shade, and a long hike.

Sept 28             Inarajan Falls            Difficult 4            hours for 5 miles
We hike through the red clay badlands of southern Guam, through the grassy central savannah and finally down to the Inarajan River to enjoy swimming and showering in one of Guam’s most scenic waterfalls. Bring 3 quarts water, good shoes, gloves, sun screen, insect lunch and snacks, camera, and swimsuit. Special conditions: Steep slopes up and down, sword grass, little shade, climbing with a rope, and a long hike

Boonie Stomps - Alutom Falls w/ Upper Sigua Opt.

Sept 21           Alutom Falls w/ Upper Sigua Opt.           Medium/Difficult           3 hours for 2 miles
From the top of Mt. Alutom we hike down to a hidden cool green waterfall with jumping and swimming. The adventurous can continue on to the steep drop to Upper Sigua Falls for waterfall fun before climbing back out. Bring: 2 liters water, hiking shoes, gloves, swimsuit, sun screen, insect repellent, lunch, and camera. Special conditions: Steep slopes, rocky trail, mud, a an uphill climb out

We hike from the central mountains of Guam into a pristine valley with 4 large waterfalls, a jumping spot, and two swimming holes. Bring: 4 quarts water, sturdy hiking shoes that can get wet, swimsuit, gloves, sun screen, sunglasses, insect repellent, lunch, and camera. Special conditions: Rocky steep downhill trail, walking in water, sword grass, a long hike, and a long steep hike up and out.

Our hardest hike, three difficult hikes strung together. We visit 2 mountains with fantastic views, a pristine jungle river, and a narrow gorge with swimming, jumping, and rock sliding spots. Bring: 4 quarts water, strong shoes that can get wet, gloves, sun screen, insect repellent, lunch and snacks, and camera. Special conditions: Sword grass, steep slopes, walking in water, slippery rocks, a very long hike, more sword grass.

We journey to 2 cooling waterfalls in southeastern Guam. Enjoy swimming and waterfall showers at the scenic Fintasa Falls, head much further downstream to enjoy the open ledges, individual swim holes or water cave of Laolao Falls. Bring: 2 quarts water, hiking shoes, swimsuit, gloves, sun screen, sunglasses, lunch, and camera. Special conditions: Some walking in water, fairly steep hills to climb and descend, sword grass

We hike downhill through a recent fire scorched area to reach three large waterfalls in central Guam. Enjoy exploring the top of the first falls before swimming below, jump at the second falls, then relax on the open ledges of the large third falls before swimming below. Bring: 2 quarts water, hiking shoes, swim suit, gloves, sun screen, insect repellent, lunch, and camera. Special conditions: Stretches of steep trail, walking in cave water and over rough limestone rocks.

We trek to a great scenic area on Guam, a series of waterfalls and cascades in the southeast. There is something for everyone to enjoy, from tiny tots playing in the cascades or to jumping, waterfall showers, and a rock slide for the more adventurous. There’s even a hammock for the more sedate. Bring: 2 quarts water, hiking shoes, gloves, swim suit, sun screen, insect repellent, lunch, and camera. Special conditions: Possible mud, a short steep section
