Caroline Islands Air, Inc. was created under Public Law No. 10-72 by the congress of the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM). The Main purpose of CIA is to provide air transportation services throughout the Nation. 1Providing Air service to the remote island communities. CIA will train citizens in professions related to aeronautics. CIA will act as a “Freely Associated State Air Carrier” within the meaning of the Federal Program and Services Agreement concluded pursuant to the Compact of Free Association with the United States of America. CIA will support emergency and surveillance needs of the FSM Government.
