Wawa chips started back in the ealy 80's by producing banana chips for munching at the ariport while saling other comodities to people who are checking in for the flight going Hawaii and Pohnpei State. It was just an idea to see if people will like to try instaed of the imported chips. Later on people were asking to buy some banana chips to bring with them to Hawaii or Pohnpei, Chuuk and Guam for their relatives who live abroad. This is how Wawa Chips become more popular. United Airline crew started buying the chips and share to the passenger on the flight, after one or two flights passenger come down to the departure lobby and start buying the banana chips.Categories
