Boonie Stomp - Tagu’on

We descend 256 steps to a rugged coastline of northeastern Guam, then walk over the reef and around the sea cliffs to a giant sea cave, with swimming and snorkeling if the water is calm. Bring: 3 quarts water, get wet shoes, gloves, swim suit, snorkel gear, sun screen, insect repellent, lunch, and camera. Special conditions: Walking on rough rocks, walking in the water, possible surf, and a steep climb out up the steps.
 
Every Saturday, Guam Boonie Stompers offers public hikes to a variety of destinations such as beaches, snorkeling sites, waterfalls, mountains, caves, latte sites, and World War II sites. We meet at 9:00 AM in the Center Court of Chamorro Village in Hagatna. The cost is $2.00 for hikers over 12. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Hikers need to provide their own transportation. Guam’s trails are not developed. Weather conditions can make the hikes more difficult than described. No reservations required.
